After 16 years at Sharp Corporation of Australia heading up a number of product management and marketing positions, Chasnyn Ousmand has departed from the brand.
For the past four years, Ousmand has worked as product manager for refrigerators, microwave ovens, small appliances and air conditioners, having built up her portfolio of products since 2002. Prior to this she worked as marketing coordinator for home appliances and marketing assistant for business planning.

The Sharp team has made a number of internal appointments following Ousmand’s departure. Janelle Lucht has been appointed assistant product manager for Refrigerator, Air Purifier and Laundry, while Jodie Campbell has been promoted to assistant product manager for Microwave Ovens and Small Home Appliances and Stephanie Conroy has been appointed to product development officer for Home Appliances.
Sharp management took the opportunity to thank Ousmand for her “dedication and commitment” in the role.
Chasnyn Ousmand began a new role this week at Panasonic Australia, where she will be looking after audio, DVD and Blu-ray products.
