SYDNEY, NSW: HTC and Telstra will be co-launching the Desire S and the Wildfire S in Sydney on 25 May 2011. Both these new handsets are expected to be released exclusively on the Next G network.
This will be HTC's first launch since the Incredible S was released exclusively on the Optus network. It will also gazump Samsung, who earlier today confirmed that the Galaxy S II will be launched the following day (Thursday 26 May 2011).

Co-chairing the launch event will be HTC country manager Ben Hodgson and Telstra director Andrew Volard.
Guaranteeing that no tech journo feels like skipping this event, HTC has confirmed that it will be screening the State of Origin live at the venue.
