Vitamix is introducing three new Ascent 1.4L interlock containers made to pair with the company’s Ascent Series blenders.

The containers each offer unique functions and are the ideal size and shape for blending small to medium batches. The Aer Disc container enables users to emulsify, foam, muddle and whip ingredients, the Dry Grain container is designed for milling and grinding ingredients to make flour, grind coffee, mix batter and knead bread dough, and the Wet Blade container allows users to achieve the same techniques as the standard 2L container, but in smaller batches.

All containers feature Vitamix Self-Detect technology which recognises the containers and automatically adjusts blend settings accordingly, and Interlock Safety Lids, which prevent the blender from starting if the lid or jug is not secure.

The containers are dishwasher-safe, made from BPA-free Eastman Tritan and come with a three-year warranty covering all parts, performance and labour.

Fackelmann Housewares brand manager for Vitamix, Melissa Lyras said, “We are delighted to be expanding our accessory range for the Ascent Series in Australia and New Zealand, giving access to a range of culinary capabilities with techniques previously only possible with commercial blenders. The Aer Disc container is a particularly exciting innovation, as its versatility and ability to emulsify, foam, muddle and whip, is unparalleled in the blender category.”

The Vitamix 1.4L containers are available at leading retailers, specialty stores and the Vitamix Australia website for RRP $249.
