Wine cabinet specialist, Vintec has welcomed experienced sommelier, international wine consultant and co-owner of New York restaurant, Legacy Records, Arvid Rosengren as its first global brand ambassador. Rosengren was also crowned the World’s Best Sommelier in 2016.

He will use his experience and knowledge to create exclusive content for the Vintec Club, the private club for owners of Vintec cellars and community for wine lovers, providing tips on how to start and maintain a wine collection, addressing serving myths and sharing expert recommendations on wines to buy, drink and collect.

“I am very happy to be joining the Vintec team as they are truly passionate about wine. Not only do they design products that help wine lovers properly care for their bottles, they build a community and develop experiences that go well beyond their product by organising tasting events and dinners, creating and sharing educational content, and connecting people,” Rosengren said.

“Being an ambassador for the brand opens opportunities not only to advocate for the right care for wine but also to interact with an engaging audience of club members and wine lovers,” he added.

Vintec global marketing director, Thomas Benhamou said the brand is excited about the partnership. “Arvid is an extremely knowledgeable and awarded sommelier who keeps an easy and down-to-earth style which we appreciate immensely. We know that talking about wine can be intimidating in many ways and having a brand ambassador who is both experienced and approachable contributes to demystifying the topic and inspiring wine lovers to enjoy different aspects of wine.”

The Vintec Club has over 22,000 members who are engaged on a weekly basis with content in partnership with wine experts, writers, and sommeliers from around the world. Rosengren recently held his first virtual event with the Vintec Club providing practical tips and recommendations on ‘how to start and maintain a wine collection’ to over 70 members.

Full access to Rosengren’s exclusive advice and content is restricted to owners of Vintec cellars. However, wine recommendations can be previewed free of charge by joining the Vintec Club as a ‘guest’ or following @vintecclub on Instagram or Facebook.
