SYDNEY: Fujitsu General has won the Coolworld Industry Award for ‘Most Efficient Air Conditioning Unit’ for its ASTB09LDC Plasma Filter model that has a 6-star energy rating in both cooling and heating.

The winning ASTB09LDC Plasma Filter model was judged using information provided by the Department of Environment and Water Resources and Australian Greenhouse Office.

“Fujitsu is extremely proud to have won this esteemed award,” said Fujitsu general manager sales and marketing, Philip Perham.

“As Australians start to take measures to address climate change, we will continue to ensure that our air conditioners exceed industry standards, offering customers a more energy efficient choice.”

In addition to the Coolworld Award, Fujitsu General also announced it won the ‘Best Large Custom Stand’ award at the Air Conditioning, Refrigeration and Building Services (ARBS) show held in Melbourne this week.

Fujitsu General used the stand to launch its new ‘V2’ VRF commercial air conditioning products.

Visitors to the stand were given the chance to meet the company’s ambassadors, cricketer Mark Taylor, and Fujitsu V8 Supercar racing driver, Jason Bright. These sporting personalities also made time to sign mini cricket bats, balls, and posters for visitors to the show.
