UC Hwang leaves LG Electronics

SYDNEY: LG Electronics managing director, UC Hwang, has returned to Korea after a two year tenure in the role.

Replacing Mr Hwang is LG’s USA sales and marketing manager – appliance division, Daniel Shin, who commences on February 1.

Shin has 15 years of experience in overseas markets including Korea and Spain. Prior to his role in Australia, Mr Hwang headed LG in Panama and Brazil and has a strong background in sales, marketing, service and operations within LG.

Prior to these roles, Mr Hwang worked as the managing director of overseas operations within LG for 13 years.
