Who says appliances can’t be fun? Although EuroCucina is heavily concentrated on the best in integrated cooking appliances, there have been some very unusual products on display across the cavernous halls of the Fiero Milano convention centre.

You can always rely on the rangehood manufacturers to throw up some eye-catching, and at times completely out-there, designs, but this EuroCucina has also seen some intriguing advances in cooking, refrigeration and storage technology.

Here are our five most unusual appliances from the show:
