Samsung has released some images showcasing the Foxtel interface on its Smart TVs. Announced just in time for the 2012 Summer Olympics in London, Samsung TVs can now show selected Foxtel programming for an additional fee, starting at $19.50 per month.
Foxtel packages available for Samsung TV customers include Entertainment, Sport, Footy Play and Movies. Importantly, all eight Foxtel Olympics channels are available for a one-off fee of $50.

The biggest downside to this service is that it is only available in SD.
"As part of the service launch, customers who purchase a participating Samsung Smart TV from a participating retailer between 1 July and 2 September 2012 are eligible to receive a free three-month subscription to the Foxtel on Internet TV Get Started Package," said a spokesperson. "The package includes: FOX8, MTV, Nickelodeon, Channel [V], LifeStyle YOU, Discovery Channel, National Geographic Channel, TV1, SKY NEWS, FOX Sports News and Cartoon Network."
