SYDNEY, NSW: Ilve has released a new premium 90-centimetre gas cooktop: H90SD (RRP $3,099). This fiver burner hob includes four ring burners and one wok burner.
The wok burner on this cooktop is at the far left, and displaced enough so that when in use, the wok won’t interfere with the other burners.
“With all Ilve Gas Cooktops, you can simmer at the lowest temperatures that your recipe calls for or go to searing heat instantly, precision heat settings ensuring perfect cooking control,” said an Ilve spokesperson.
“There are fewer food trapping cracks and crevices allowing for easy wipe maintenance. The trivets, burner heads and supports are removable and easily cleaned either in a dishwasher or by hand.

Ilve has been a good roll in 2011. The local office of the Italian brand won the Best Stand Award at DesignEx 2011, opened its new showroom in Leichhardt and has been consolidating its social media presence through Twitter and Facebook.
