SYDNEY, NSW: Panasonic has launched its Econavi Front Loader Washing Machine with the announcement of a new point of sale strategy, designed to educate retail staff and consumers on the eco-friendly benefits of the machine.

The NA-140VG3WAU washing machine features Panasonic’s new Econavi technology, which is designed to be easy to use and kind on the environment. Speaking about the technology when it was launched last month, managing director of Panasonic Australia Steve Rust said it “delivers all of the benefits without any of the burden.”

The point of sale advertising has taken a rather amorous angle, with signage that boasts the key features of Econavi – smart, sensitive, quiet and eco-friendly – and the tag-line “I’m the love of your life”.

“Our eco-friendly, smart washing machine is the perfect partner for Australians looking for an energy-efficient solution,” said Mathew Harrison, group marketing manager, home environment, Panasonic Australia.

“Using ECONAVI technology, the washing machine can detect the amount of clothing in the machine and deliver the precise energy, drum rotations, water and temperature needed to ensure a more economical and effective wash.”

“The Point of Sale display is designed to assist both customers and sales staff to easily understand the benefits of this first offering in an exciting new category for Panasonic Australia and highlight the key Econavi features that will help deliver energy savings to customers,” he said.

The 10-kilogram washing machine features a 340 millimetre-wide opening for easy loading and unloading, as well as an energy rating of 4.5 stars and water efficiency rating of 4.5 stars. The NA-140VG3WAU is available at an RRP of $1,799.
