Brisbane-based distribution expert Crest Electronics has picked up the Australian and New Zealand supply deal for Altec Lansing audio products.

The new deal, which commences on 1 September 2011, will have Crest distributing Altec Lansing’s range of iDock solutions, PC audio and wireless technology.

Here’s Altec Lansing APAC VP of sales and marketing Stella Chan.

“We chose to work with Crest Electronics to expand our complete business offering and believe they have the ability to reinvigorate the brand to retailers, at the shop floor and to the end consumer,” Chan said. “There is no doubt that the retail network will benefit from Crest’s commitment to category management, dedicated sales forces, and our continued commitment to delivering innovative audio solutions to excite our customers.”

“We are very pleased to be able to represent Altec Lansing as their distribution partner for the Australian and New Zealand markets,” Randle said. “We believe that there are terrific opportunities for continued growth within the audio category for Altec Lansing, and this representation opportunity provides Crest with the prospect to offer a complete audio product solution to our current customer base.

“As an internationally recognised leader in audio for over 70 years, the Altec Lansing name has been synonymous for quality and value.  These attributes, coupled with some exciting new product initiatives, will raise the brand’s profile locally. In partnering with Altec Lansing, Crest will continue its commitment to delighting its customers with superior service, product and support.”
