SYDNEY, NSW: The heist occurred at 2.50am on Thursday 17 March when a black Mercedes sedan, a Subaru wagon and a maroon van broke into the back entrance of an industrial warehouse on Parramatta Road at Homebush, according to a police report.

According to the report, the perpetrators lifted approximately 100 Toshiba laptops and computers from a pallet and into the rear of the vehicles. The police have valued the electronics at $250,000.

An hour later, an empty van was found burnt-out on Deakin Street in Silverwater. It was later seized by the police for forensic examination. They are also in the process of viewing CCTV taken from the warehouse.
