The International Housewares Association (IHA) has confirmed that this year’s The Inspired Home Show will be postponed as state restrictions on large gatherings remain in effect and travel restrictions continue to impede domestic and international travel.

The Show was initially set for March 14 to 17, 2020 but was cancelled due to the threat of Covid-19. It was then scheduled to take place from August 7 to 10, 2021 and will now be held from March 5 to 8, 2022 at McCormick Place in Chicago.

“Over the last year, we have been closely watching the status of large events from a health and public safety perspective and have consistently sought feedback from our industry about how travel restrictions and mass gathering bans have impacted their normal operations,” IHA president, Derek Miller said.

“With the health and safety of our exhibitors and attendees top of mind, we realised that it is infeasible for The Inspired Home Show to proceed in August of 2021.”

Booth space dollars from 2020 exhibitors that rolled over to the 2021 Show, as well as that from new 2021 exhibitors will be rolled over to the 2022 Show.

IHA has posted an FAQ page at TheInspiredHomeShow.com/Exhibit/Exhibitor-Update. For any inquiries not covered by the FAQs, exhibitors should reach out directly to their sales manager.

As recently announced, IHA will be offering several digital events including Connect SPRING from March 16 to 26, 2021 and Connect GROCERY in the week of April 19, 2021. Additional details about the events can be found here.
