The Appliance Guys, in partnership with Beko, have launched the inaugural PM Social Club, a new platform designed to support, educate, and celebrate property and asset managers across Australia.
The launch event held recently at the Beko Sydney Showroom in Alexandria, marked the first time the venue had been opened for an industry gathering.
The evening combined information, collaboration, comedy, and music, bringing together property and asset managers, appliance brands, and industry experts for a night that was both insightful and entertaining.
“Property Managers are at the heart of everything we do, and the PM Social Club is about giving back, creating a space where they can connect, share experiences, and feel supported by the brands they work with every day,” said Cassandra Josipovic, Sales & Marketing Director at The Appliance Guys.
The evening featured a panel discussion moderated by The Appliance Guys’ Rachel Elkadi and Cassandra Josipovic, with contributions from Amanda Deyes, Customer Care Team Leader at Beko ANZ, Jim Kalotheos, Managing Director of Beko ANZ, and Michael Anania, Head of Property Management at Laing + Simmons.
Attendees also had the chance to experience Beko’s latest European-designed appliances through hands-on sessions, while comedian Rob Shehadie provided entertainment throughout the night. Some guests left with prizes, including Beko appliances showcased during the event.
The Appliance Guys and Beko used the event to highlight how property and asset managers can simplify their work with a full-service appliance solution.
The companies emphasised the value of European-built products backed by a manufacturer’s warranty that can be extended to five years at no additional cost, providing reassurance for both landlords and tenants.
“Launching the very first PM Social Club with Beko was an easy choice; their constant support and belief in what we’re building has been incredible. Hosting the event in their showroom brought property managers closer to the people and products behind the brands they see every day,” said Rachel Elkadi, Marketing Director at The Appliance Guys.
The event drew strong engagement both in person and online. Andrew Hodgson of Beko ANZ noted, “It was nice to get everyone in the room and put a face to the name of Beko, they usually only see it on a quote.”
He added, “The Appliance Guys and Beko are growing together, and this was just the beginning.”
Eddie Gaymer of Beko ANZ echoed this, saying, “Always great when we get to partner with our supporters and create an event where everyone can enjoy themselves while learning more about our brand, features, and benefits.”
Future events are expected to expand on this foundation of partnership, service, and community.
