Tefal has once again revolutionised its Tefal Cook4Me smart multicooker with the release of its latest model, the Cook4Me Touch – which claims to be the only multicooker with over 250 built-in recipes including starters, mains and desserts.

Building on the smart technology of previous models, users are guided through built-in recipes step-by-step and can adjust quantity and cooking time for two, four or six servings. Express cooking mode can pressure cook at 100KPA, enabling over 100 recipes to be cooked in under 10 minutes.

With Wi-Fi connectivity and an accompanying app, users can access a growing collection of recipes that can be downloaded direct to the appliance, create their own recipe book, modify recipes to suit specific dietary requirements, upload recipes to share with the community and monitor cooking remotely.

The new integrated swiveling touch screen has been specifically engineered for use in the kitchen. Even if hands are wet or greasy, the touchscreen will respond. Images and video tips in the guided instructions allow users to learn new cooking techniques. The Cook4Me Touch also lets users search for recipes based on ingredients they already have in the fridge or pantry.

The smart pressure release is supported by exclusive cool touch handles for easy and safe preparing and serving.

Tefal Cook4Me Touch will be available in stores from July 2021 for RRP $699.95.

To further enhance the Tefal Cook4Me experience, Tefal is releasing the Extra Crisp Lid accessory (pictured above) to instantly turn the multicooker into an air fryer by simply plugging it in and snapping it on top of the Cook4Me.

The Extra Crisp Lid can function independently to air fry, roast, grill and bake using the Cook4Me as its base and bowl. It can also function in combination with the Cook4Me utilising its high-pressure cooking capabilities.

Its digital control screen allows users to navigate four automatic functions – fry, roast, grill and bake – in addition to manual mode to personalise recipes. New dedicated recipes in the Cook4Me app utilise the Extra Crisp Lid in conjunction with the Cook4Me for step-by-step guidance.

With no pre-heating required, cooking with the Extra Crisp Lid claims to be 30% faster than cooking in a traditional oven and requires little to no oil. It can be cleaned with a wipe of a sponge.

Compatible with all Cook4Me models, the Tefal Extra Crisp Lid will be available in stores from July 2021 for RRP $149.95.
