Tefal has partnered with Myer to launch a cookware recycling campaign. ‘Act Together’ is a first in a recycling initiative for the cookware category in Australia and follows a similar campaign by Tefal that has been running in Europe for five years.

Tefal sends the collected cookware to partnering facilities where it will be recycled and repurposed for use in a variety of products. The used pots and pans can be disposed at the Myer Tefal recycling stations, located in 14 capital city and selected suburban stores in NSW, VIC, QLD, SA, WA and the ACT.  It is expected to expand this to 30+ stores across Australia.

The campaign coincides with the release of the Tefal Eco Respect cookware range made from 100% recycled aluminium with a design that delivers a 90% reduction in its carbon footprint. The range includes frypans in three sizes, a wok, saucepans in two sizes, one with a lid, a stewpot with lid and three-piece cookware set comprising two frypans with a removable handle.

RRPs start from $109.95 for a 24cm frypan and up to $159.95 for the 24cm stewpot with lid. The Ingenio 3-piece cookware set retails at $349.95.

Tefal is also preparing for a spring launch of two multi-functional appliances. The Tefal Easy Fry & Grill XXL Flexcook, a 2-in-1 air fryer allows two dishes to cook at once. The Tefal Easy Fry Oven & Grill with a 9-in-1 functionality also includes rotisserie, roast, bake, broil, toast, dehydrate and reheat and cooks up to three meals at one. Both appliances retail at $499.95 each and will be released in September.
