The Targus 45W laptop wall charger (APA95AU-50) has been recalled due to the potential for the faceplate to separate from the body of the AC plug head, exposing live parts. This leads to the risk of electric shock.
Consumers are advised to stop using the product and switch off power to the charger before attempting to unplug the charger from the power source.

The charger was sold nationally at Bluechip Infotech, Ingram Micro, Dicker Data, Bagworld, Officeworks superstores, JB Hi-Fi Group and Harvey Norman. It was available for sale from 4 December 2017 to 22 February 2019.
