Grand Designs Live began in Sydney today, offering information to prospective builders and renovators on everything from designer pool tables and fireplaces to landscaping and roofing tiles. Aside from the building and design elements of the event, the expo will also be offering visitors plenty of chances to view big-name appliances.

Along with Miele, which is the name sponsor for the Grand Kitchens and Bathrooms section of the expo, other brands exhibiting at the show include Jura, Fisher & Paykel, and Ilve.

Speaking about Ilve’s stand at the show was Ilve marketing manager Daniel Bertuccio.

“The Grand Designs Australia Live show is an exciting new home show format for ILVE to exhibit at,” said Bertuccio.

“The television show is hugely successful both internationally and in Australia and is the perfect opportunity to showcase our premium range of ovens and cooktops to a host of home design and renovation enthusiasts.”

Ilve’s stand at the expo is the very award-winning installation that was showcased at DesignEX earlier this year – a large purple and black affair, replete with graffiti-style writing on the walls, sofas strewn with black satin cushions and plenty of pink and purple and mood lighting.

The stand features a range of cooking appliances on display, including ovens, cooktops and a variety of designer rangehoods.
