SYDNEY, NSW: As regional and metropolitan Australia continues to roll out digital television Grundig has announced a high end set top box with Blu-Ray player and an entry level mini set top box to complete the 2011 range.

The Grundig High Definition Digital Set Top Box with Blu-Ray Player (GSTB3111BR, RRP $249) receives all HD digital free to air channels and features an integrated Blu-Ray player which supports multi format playback, a USB input, a seven-day programme guide, and an HDMI output.

The Mini Grundig High Definition Set Top Box (GSTB3106HD, RRP $79) is designed to slip into smaller spaces. This digital receiver also features a seven-day program guide, HDMI output, USB inputs and an easy menu system.

Grundig sales director, Brian Rodgers, said that the new receivers would make it easy for Australians to make the switch over to digital TV.

“The new Grundig Set Top Boxes make upgrading to digital more beneficial than ever before. Designed to provide our customers with additional practical features that allow them to make the most out of their digital viewing experience at a great affordable price point,” said Rodgers in a statement.
