Shriro Australia has seen illumination become an increasingly important consideration for consumers purchasing a new rangehood. Not often at the forefront of product messaging like air extraction rate for removing odours, optimum lighting significantly improves visibility for home cooks.

“We’re focused on how our brands can add value to the consumer and make a difference in their everyday life. This creates a real reason for being and clear, meaningful selling points. The illumination panel is a perfect example where consumers have told us how much they love the light it provides to help their cooking experience,” Shriro Australia chief marketing officer, Tim Anderson said.

LED lighting is becoming the norm due to its longevity, high illumination capability and energy efficiency with almost all Omega and Robinhood premium rangehoods featuring LED lighting.

The Omega 60cm canopy rangehood ORC60MB is the only rangehood with a full-length LED light panel that is attached with magnets for easy access to the removeable and washable filters, while the Robinhood canopy rangehood RHWC1600X offers a large strip LED light that goes across the entire rangehood.

Omega’s 60cm canopy rangehood ORC60MB offers 774m3/hr net airflow to keep the kitchen air clear while cooking and backlit buttons enable users to check rangehood settings at a glance. The rangehood is available in an on trend matte black finish to complement any modern kitchen design.

Robinhood’s canopy rangehood RHWC1600X is extremely powerful with a 1,600m3/hr maximum motor performance to handle the most intensive cooking. The patented filter design wicks oil into a removable collector at the base of the rangehood for stress free cleaning, while the deep angle smoke collecting chamber removes smoke and steam for even greater visibility. The rangehood is available in stainless steel or black glass.
