Sony’s 2025 BRAVIA Theatre home audio products, which boast of providing a cinematic audio experience for a home setup, will be available in the Australian market in July.
The range includes the BRAVIA Theatre Bar 6 ($899), a 31.2ch soundbar with a wireless subwoofer supported by Dolby Atmos/ DTS:X for a high-quality surround sound. Moreover, Sony’s Vertical Surround Engine and S-Force PRO Front Surround provide a more realistic, multi-dimensional sound to other formats, too.
It features Sony’s mixer technology, which allows the user to experience three-dimensional surround sound with both surround sound format content and stereo content.
It also has a dedicated centre speaker to ensure crystal clear voice reproduction.
If paired with a compatible BRAVIA TV, Sony’s Voice Zoom 3 powered by AI machine learning recognises human voices and amplifies or reduces their volume to make even faint sounds clear.
Also included in the range is the BRAVIA Theatre System 6 ($1199), an all-in-one 5.1ch 1000W sound system complete with soundbar, subwoofer and rear speakers.

Along with the Dolby Atmos and DTS:X and Vertical Surround Engine, S-Force PRO Front Surround, and Voice Zoom 3 features, its multi-stereo function allows stereo sound to replicate from left or right to centre or rears.

The range also includes wireless rear speakers BRAVIA Theatre Rear 8 ($699) and wireless subwoofer Bravia Theatre Sub 7 ($499), which provide a wide range of speaker options when connected to a compatible soundbar such as the Bravia Theatre Bar 8 and 9.

In line with Sony’s commitment to environmental sustainability, the BRAVIA Theatre products will come in packaging made of about 75 per cent recycled paper. In addition, the fabric used in the products is recycled from PET bottles.
