Smeg’s Classic Oven and Linea Cooktop have been recognised by the international design community, winning prestigious Good Design Awards, among more than 500 companies considered for the prize. This year’s accolades mark Smeg’s eight consecutive time being recognised.
Judged by an independent jury of international architects, designers and creatives, award criteria focuses on aesthetics, functionality, ecological compatibility and symbolic and emotional content.
The Good Design Awards, founded in 1950 by designers and world-renowned architects, is hosted annually at the Chicago Athenaeum Museum of Architecture and Design. It is one of the most prestigious and internationally recognised events for the design community.
