Smeg Australia has extended its official club partnership with Australian football team, Sydney FC until 2024.

The partnership extension foreshadows the imminent opening of Sky Park, Sydney FC’s Centre of Excellence at Macquarie Sports Fields in Sydney’s north. The facility will feature Smeg’s domestic and professional foodservice appliances, including the newly launched Galileo combi-steam oven. Along with catering, the Centre will provide an inclusive space for players, both professional and grassroots, staff and members.

The success of the Smeg and Sydney FC partnership launched two years ago remains firmly based on family values and teamwork, traits shared by both parties.

Smeg Australia managing director, Wayne Campbell is looking forward to working more closely with the club.

“While the Smeg and Sky Blue families have integrated well, I’m excited to continue to strengthen our bond with members and fans as we enter an exciting period in the club’s history with the reopening of Allianz Stadium and impending launch of Sky Park, Sydney FC’s world-class Centre of Excellence,” he said.

“The Sky Park precinct will showcase Smeg’s total kitchen solution, from award-winning small appliances to major domestic cooking, dishwashing and refrigeration collections. The professional kitchen will also feature Smeg’s total foodservice solution, offering cooking, washing and blast chilling appliances.”

Sydney FC CEO, Adam Santo is delighted to continue the partnership with Smeg.

“Smeg and Sydney FC’s family values and teamwork are at the forefront of why our partnership has been so successful over the past two seasons and we couldn’t be happier to be continuing the relationship,” he said.

“Smeg are a premium brand with whom we are much aligned and are a popular member of our Sydney FC corporate family.”

Sydney FC and Smeg will continue their social media series featuring players such as Andrew Redmayne, Adam Le Fondre and Taylor Ray creating in the Smeg kitchen. Smeg will also continue to enjoy a range of benefits at Sydney FC’s home games.
