SmartLetters – targeted direct mail designed to encourage the community to ‘shop local’ – has further developed its services since launching in early 2021.

SmartLetters provides a simple, effective, and low-cost method of attracting new customers each month by delivering a unique offer in a stamped addressed envelope via Australia Post. 

Since launching SmartLetters has worked with local businesses and national retailers including Appliances Online and BSR Group helping them navigate various lockdowns. All appliance retailers who are interested in using the service are being offered a $50 voucher to get started.

In response to client feedback, the SmartLetters team has expanded the service to offer local businesses greater targeting options. The ability to target newcomers to a neighbourhood was already a game changer, but now businesses can choose between neighbourhood residents who are either renting or homeowners.

Businesses can also now provide custom envelope branding – an additional feature that has seen campaign redemption improve since it was introduced in September 2021.

Businesses simply need to prepare an A4 PDF flyer with a unique offer and SmartLetters will print, fold and insert the offer into a window addressed envelope that is mailed via Australia Post, starting from $200 per month.
