Shaver Shop has announced same store sales growth of 8.7% for the four months ended 30 April, 2019, inching up 0.8% on the previous corresponding period, driven by strong performance from core hair removal categories and hair styling.

Shaver Shop CEO and managing director, Cameron Fox said, “I am very pleased that our like for like sales growth is predominantly being driven by a number of our core hair removal categories which is where our store teams excel. Hair styling, following the launch of the ghd range around the same time last year is also performing very well.

“Our ongoing omni retail initiatives are delivering solid online sales growth so far this half. This is before we launch our customer relationship management platform in the coming months which will significantly enhance our ability to engage with customers on a more personalised and timely basis across any retail channel.”

The EBITDA guidance for FY19 has now been narrowed to be in the range between $12.5 million and $14 million.
