This Australian Fashion Week (AFW), Shark Beauty is partnering with fashion designers and hair stylists as the event’s official hair tool partner.
Shark Beauty hair styling tools include the Shark FlexStyle, Shark SpeedStyle and newly launched Shark SmoothStyle Heated Comb Straightener and Smoother, an all-in-one smoothing and straightening hot brush, which made its debut at AFW.
In its first year as an AFW partner, Shark Beauty has partnered with Australian fashion designers including Albus Lumen, Beare Park and Alix Higgins. The hair tools are also being used to create runway looks for Third Form and Mariam Seddiq, as well as styling session at circular dress hire company The Volte’s pop up.
Working backstage during AFW, Shark Beauty hair director, Chris Hunter said professional stylists can trust Shark Beauty hair tools to withstand the high intensity demands of Fashion Week. “From touch ups to complete creative styles, the Shark FlexStyle, Shark SmoothStyle and Shark SpeedStyle, will be delivering stellar runway hair trends that can be recreated at home.”

Shark Beauty is also partnering with curl specialist, Rumbie Mutsiwa for a curly hair masterclass and will host international fashion media, stylists, influencers and tastemakers at its Shark Beauty Hair Suite, located at official hotel partner SKYE Suites Green Square. Guests can enjoy a hair styling session and pre-show refreshments.
