Samsung has picked up a whopping 71 awards, including three Gold Awards, at the International Forum (iF) Design Award 2022, a German international design competition.
The Gold Awards were for its portable screen The Freestyle, mobile phone Galaxy Z Flip3 and wireless vacuum cleaner, Bespoke Slim.
The Freestyle can display as large as 254cm in diagonal length depending on the environment where it is used and rotates 180 degrees. The Galaxy Z Flip3 won for its compact and foldable design while the Bespoke Slim also won for a design that blends well with the surrounding living space. The Neo QLED 8K, the Bespoke French door refrigerator and the Galaxy Buds2 also won awards in the product category.
“It is important for a design to connect the changing values with innovative technologies,” Samsung Corporate Design Centre, vice president, Jinsoo Kim said.
