Samsung Electronics Australia has been awarded Canstar Blue’s 2023 Most Satisfied Customers in the smartphone category. This follows recognition in the TV and home theatre systems categories for the second consecutive year.

As Australia’s most trusted consumer comparison site, Canstar Blue polled over 1,300 Australians who had purchased a smartphone in the last two years to rate the products on overall satisfaction, including user friendliness, design, durability, value for money, camera quality, battery and charging performance.

Samsung was the only smartphone brand to receive a five-star customer rating in all seven categories, with participants attesting to the stylish functionality and reliability of the devices.

“While some competitors focus only on high-end handsets, Samsung’s wide range of Galaxy smartphones cater to high-end, mid-range and lower-budget phone users, without sacrificing quality features and specifications,” Canstar Blue utilities editor, Tara Donnelly said.

“Customers also gave Samsung a full five stars for design, camera quality, user friendliness, battery and charging, highlighting the all-round impressive performance delivered by the brand’s line-up of devices.”

Samsung Electronics Australia vice president of mobile experience, Garry McGregor commented: “At Samsung, we strive to be the best in every element of the consumer experience. To be awarded this honour by Canstar Blue is truly humbling and I can promise we have an exciting journey ahead for our vastly growing Australian Samsung family.

“Australia is a formative market for Samsung globally. Global trends get set in this market, as a country that is relatively dependent on connected technologies. As such, this award gets recognition not just here but across the globe.

“We’re proud to offer such a compelling line-up that suits customers’ needs. Our rapid growth draws on our experience in furthering technological innovation in the smartphone category, but also our establishment of an entirely new category with foldables, which has now segued into the mainstream.”
