Samsung Electronics has announced four new Galaxy A series devices, the Galaxy A54 5G, A34 5G, Galaxy A14 5G, and Galaxy A14, boasting up to two full days of battery life.
The hero of the range, the Galaxy A54 5G (pictured above), features a premium rear glass finish and increased camera pixel size to capture more light for better images in both bright and low light conditions.
The Galaxy A54 5G and Galaxy A34 5G (pictured below) make use of Samsung Galaxy’s leading Nightography and AI capabilities, supported by a 32MP front camera.
The new A Series models deliver improved optical image stabilisation (OIS) and video digital image stabilisation (VDIS) compared with previous A series models. Night mode helps users capture more detail by broadening the camera’s pixel size. Any unwanted shadows and reflections can now be removed for the first time in the Galaxy A series, thanks to enhanced editing tools.
Both the Galaxy A54 5G and Galaxy A34 5G feature Super AMOLED displays, measuring 6.4-inch and 6.6-inch respectively. Both displays have been upgraded for improved outdoor visibility, even under bright sunlight, incorporate enhanced Vision Booster and 120Hz refresh rate.
Galaxy A54 5G and Galaxy A34 5G guarantee up to four generations of OS upgrades and five years of security updates to maximise the smartphone lifecycle. Both devices are compatible with the Samsung Galaxy ecosystem to provide seamless connectivity between devices. Users can get 100GB of cloud storage and back up photos to OneDrive with a six-month trial of Microsoft 365 Basic.
The new A Series devices will be available in Australia from March 31, 2023. Availability may vary by channel and/or carrier.
The Galaxy A54 5G (RRP $699) will be available in Awesome Graphite and Awesome Violet colour options, the Galaxy A34 5G (RRP $599) will be available in Awesome Lime and Awesome Graphite. The Galaxy A14 5G (RRP $379) and Galaxy A14 (RRP $329) will both be available in Black.
Customers who purchase the Galaxy A54 5G and/or Galaxy A34 5G from the Samsung online store or a participating retail store during the initial launch period between 31 March and 13 April 2023 will be eligible to claim a bonus Galaxy Watch4 Bluetooth (40mm) through redemption.
From 14 March, purchasers of the Galaxy A54 5G and Galaxy A34 5G will be eligible for a bonus one year of Samsung Care+ Lite. This offer must be redeemed prior to 30 June 2023.
