LG has unveiled its latest addition to the very competitive mobile handset market, with the new and updated PRADA phone by LG.

The new model is almost identical to the immensely popular original but with a major difference, a slide-out QWERTY keyboard, which LG promises will enhance the phones ease of use dramatically.

The original PRADA phone by LG was an incredible success for the company and sold over one million units, it was in fact one of the true pioneers in the mobile market due to the fact that it was the first phone to feature a fully operational touch screen, a feature that has become hugely successful with other rival manufacturers like Nokia, Apple and Samsung.

LG also claims that a lot of its success came from its strong focus on good looks and the incorporation of the PRADA name gave the model instant appeal.

“The culmination of PRADA research and development in the complete interior as well as exterior design and functionality of the phone and accessories was the key to this success,” said LG.

As well as the slide-out QWERTY keyboard, the PRADA phone by LG also features additional on-screen call and hang-up buttons for added accessibility.

It also has other enhanced features like 3G compatibility with video calling, 7.2 Mbps HSDPA, HTML browser, 5 mega pixel camera with Schneider-Kreuznach certified lens and Wi-Fi accessibility.

The new PRADA phone by LG will be available with a RRP of $999 through mobile retailers Virgin Mobile and Crazy Johns.
