Following on the from the announcement of a dedicated Star Wars Xbox 360 console comes the next collectors’ item for hardcore gamers: the Call of Duty console.

Timed to coincide with the release of the next game in the franchise, Modern Warfare 3, the Call of Duty console pack contains a 320GB Xbox 360 styled in Modern Warfare colours and two custom wireless controllers.

To further integrate Call of Duty into your gaming, regardless of what game you are actually playing, launch partners Xbox, Infinity Ward and Sledgehammer Games promise “unmistakable Call of Duty sounds when powering up and when the tray is opened”.

The Call of Duty Xbox pack is available for RRP $549 from 8 November 2011.

Also announced this morning are two new COD accessories: a wireless Bluetooth headset (RRP $79) and a limited edition standalone wireless controller (RRP $89).

“The controller includes exclusive artwork and a transforming D-pad that can be rotated to adapt to the user’s game play, as well as an Xbox Live token for an exclusive download,” said a spokesperson.
