SYDNEY, NSW: Dell has appointed a distributor for some of its printing hardware products, with Altech Computers now taking orders for 13 Dell printers and managing the supply of cartridges in Australia and New Zealand.
“This agreement enables Dell to increase customer choice, provide flexibility, and offer accelerated printer product delivery to most partners and their commercial customers who have immediate technology needs,” said Dell channel business director Jay Turner.
“Partners value Dell’s strong supply chain, however they’re telling us there are times when customers’ needs are more urgent, and this agreement shows our commitment to ensure their requirements are better met.”

Altech MD Antony Sheen was happy to be Dell’s first Australian distributor.
“This is the first time Dell products are to be sold via a distributor in Australia, and Altech is honoured to be chosen as a printer distributor for both the Australian and New Zealand markets,” he said.
