Just over a week after launching a new line-up of notebooks and ultrabooks using the new Windows 8 operating system, Asus has unveiled a new range of All-in-One PCs that also utilise the new OS. Powered by Intel’s 3rd generation core processors, there are three large touch-screen PCs in the range, representing a good, better best line-up for retailers to sell.
First in the range is the ET2220, which Asus says is “designed as a second computer for the home”. It features a 21.5-inch Full HD display (1920×1080) with 10-point touch control and a “photo frame-inspired design” that allows users to tilt the screen from 16 degrees to 45 degrees to create the ideal viewing angle (the screen is also wall mountable).
The 500GB hard drive model with Intel Sandy Bridge Pentium G645 processor is available for RRP $999, while the 1,000GB Core i5 model is RRP $1,299.

Next in the line-up is the flagship ET2300, which features a design inspired by Asus’ ultrabook range and a 180-degree screen (23 inches) that can be rotated and flattened down onto its base to create a completely flat touch surface. It is also the first Asus All-in-One PC with spatial array speakers, and features Intel WiDi technology for wireless streaming.
The ET2300 Core i3 model is available for RRP $1,599, while the Core i5 model is RRP $1,999.
Finally, Asus launched the top-of-the-range ET2701, which updates the previous 2700 model and features a 27-inch, 10-point multi-touch Full HD display, HDMI connectivity, a Hybrid TV tuner and an additional subwoofer bundled in with the product.
Billed as the ideal All-in-One for ‘HD entertainment’, the Core i5 model is available for RRP $2,199.
All three models will be available from Dick Smith, The Good Guys and selected Asus dealers.
