SYDNEY, NSW: Whirlpool is claiming the mantle of the world’s leading manufacturer of major appliances for the tenth straight year after a Euromonitor International report declared the company had 10.5 per cent retail volume share.

This is an increase of 1.4 per cent, according to Whirlpool.

“Whirlpool Corporation’s status as world number one for a tenth year is evidence to the fact that our appliances are continuing to resonate with consumers globally,” said Whirlpool Oceania GM of marketing David Graham.

Whirlpool currently markets its eponymous brand, Maytag and Kitchen Aid in Australia.
