Qasair sponsored a group of E&S staff at the Australian Women’s Leadership Symposium held at the Sofitel Melbourne on September 16.

Designed to connect, empower and celebrate women leaders, the Symposium is held annually in every state and territory across the country, and has been running for over 10 years. The events address topics such as gender equity, leadership, career advancement and life fulfillment.

At the recent Melbourne event, Women & Leadership Australia director, Dr Janet Smith introduced the contributors to the Symposium, with most speakers highlighting the obstacles they encountered in their path to success.

“At Qasair we will always continue to support the women of E&S and within our own business, we have 22 female staff and 30 male staff, which is a good balance. The event showed that the male animal is not necessarily a lovable one and many need to pick up their game,” Condari director, John Keating said.
