SYDNEY, NSW: Sharp has announced the launch of the newest model in its Aquos LCD TV range, the LC-32M400X.

The unit features Sharp’s high-definition 32-inch 16:9 WXGA panel with CCFL backlight technology for a clear picture, and offers advanced connectivity with USB and HDMI capability.

“This LCD TV combines elegant design and superior performance with the added advantage of USB media playback for photos, music and videos” said Mark Beard, national marketing manager of Sharp Corporation Australia.

The HDMI input offers “digital to digital” connection to a range of devices, while analogue inputs and outputs (including an audio out terminal) extend the range of connections offered by the Aquos TV. Users are also able to control HDMI connected devices with a single remote control, thanks to the HDMI and Aquos Link features.

“Digital audio clarity is also ensured with the LC-32M400X featuring a digital amplifier and high power audio output (10W per channel), combined with Dolby Digital surround sound for movie theatre-like sound enhancement” added Beard.

The Sharp 32-inch LC-32M400X will be available in late August for RRP $599.00.

In other Sharp news, the company has announced the launch of two new Top Mount Refrigerators in its range – the SJSC400VWH and SJGC400VSL.

The refrigerators feature Sharp’s Plasmacluster Ion technology that uses positively- and negatively-charged ions to reduce bacteria, as well as Ag Nano Deodorisers which trap odour-causing molecules to prevent nasty smells.

The fridges also feature Sharp’s Hybrid Cooling system. The system “incorporates two methods of cooling, the aluminium plate at the rear of the refrigerator compartment is cooled to approximately 0 degrees Celsius, and chilled air is spread throughout the compartment to keep food fresh.”

The SJSC400VWH is available with a white finish, while the SJGC400VSL has a silver finish with a premium glass door.

“Clean, modern designs, smart functions, and customisable storage options make these new models a perfect choice for any kitchen,” said Mark Beard.

The SJSC400VWH (645w x 1670h x 684d), RRP $1209, and SJGC400VSL (645w x 1670h x 688d), RRP $1429, will be available this month.
