SYDNEY, NSW: Cuisinart is currently going through a boom period, with local distributor Sheldon & Hammond reporting strong sales across its small appliance range.

To maximise this momentum, brand manager Brett Hyde is preparing some new product releases and marketing activity.

New products in the range include a combination multi-purpose rice cooker and slow cooker, a stainless steel juice extractor, a new ice cream maker and a compact blender with an impressively small benchtop footprint.

On the marketing side, Cuisinart is preparing to launch a new website that will include an interactive blog, a ‘where and when’ guide to demonstrations and input from brand ambassador Matt Moran.

Also on the agenda is a ‘Hollywood blog’, in which stills and videos, where available, of Cuisinart products in movies and TV shows will be reproduced. Cuisinart receives significant exposure in American movies and television shows, with examples including Sex and the City 2, Blade Runner and Alvin and the Chipmunks.
