Bosch has been busy promoting its new French door refrigerator and three side-by-side refrigerators this month, with a series of launch events held in Melbourne, Brisbane, Sydney, Perth and Adelaide. The events were held for Bosch’s “valued retailers across Australia” and focused on the new range of appliances – with the side-by-side models the first Bosch refrigerators to be manufactured entirely in-house.

“Bosch plans to further develop its focus on refrigeration in 2012,” said Bosch’s national sales manager, Mark Tragear.

“Retailers can expect an increase of activity within the refrigeration market with more products launching at competitive price points to complement the new range of Side by Side and French Door models,” he said.

The events involved a variety of chill-related gimmicks, including ice carving, ice sculptures, a beer stacking competitions and jugglers.

Aside from the entertainment, guests were given a first look at the new refrigeration range, which Tragear was more than happy to spruik. “Bosch is thrilled with this new range of refrigeration options, which boast bigger capacities than ever before – 762 litre gross volume for the French Door model and 678 litres gross volume for the Platinum Side by Side model,” he said.

“This is only the beginning though – consumers and retailers can look forward to big things from Bosch over the next few years with expansion planned in many areas.”
