The Philips 4K UHD Mini LED Android TV is now available in Australia in 65- and 75-inch sizes, boasting additional 4K UHD HDR, four-sided Ambilight, Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos.

The Mini LED panel features over 1,000 intelligent blacklight zones independently dimmed or brightened for sharp contrast, enhanced depth and an overall vibrant viewing experience. The Philips P5 processor with AI delivers a lifelike and vivid display.

The TV incorporates Dolby’s premium sound and video formats, Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos, enhancing the look and sound of HDR content.

For gamers, HDMI 2.1 connectivity and automatic switching keeps games connected and provides ultra-low latency. A 120Hz refresh rate is supported by Freesync Premium and G-sync compatibility. When the console is turned on, the TV automatically switches to an ultra-low latency setting which ensures responsive gameplay and smooth graphics. Both HDMI 2.1 and VRR are supported.

Households can control the Philips TV and other compatible smart home devices through voice by using the Google Assistant button or asking Alexa to control the display via Alexa-enabled devices.

Mimi Sound Personalisation allows users to personalise their TV audio to their unique hearing profile by taking a short hearing test, to create a Hearing ID profile which can then be easily synced to the television via QR code.

Mimi is based on three patented core technologies, with over 75 patent applications that allow Mimi’s unique technology and processing algorithm to profile more than 100 parameters to accurately assess, customise and optimise the audio to an individual’s hearing ability.
