Panasonic has introduced the new SR-DA182KST and SR-DA152WST rice cookers, offering a 10-cup and 8-cup capacity respectively.

The rice cookers are designed for practicality and ease, with multicooker functionality to create dishes beyond rice, from dumplings to steamed vegetables and soups. The Auto Menu settings include white rice, brown rice, quick cook, steam, congee, soup and keep warm.

Panasonic’s Fuzzy Logic technology automatically adjusts cooking temperature across all stages of rice cooking to ensure the best results for all types of rice.

In addition to a 24-hour timer, the rice cookers feature a one-touch control panel with LED display, non-stick inner pan with binchotan charcoal coating for maximum heat conductivity, as well as easy cleaning and maintenance.

Panasonic product marketing manager for small appliances, Ricardo Damiani said, “Our goal has always been to make cooking straightforward in the kitchen, without compromising on quality. We know that people want versatile kitchen appliances, which is why we are excited to showcase the multicooker ability of our rice cooker range.”

Panasonic ambassador and cook, Marion Grasby (pictured above) said, “Panasonic rice cookers can do much more than the name suggests. There are a world of culinary possibilities and convenient features available at the touch of a button. I’ve created so many recipes with them including risotto, yum cha, braised ribs and congees.”

The Panasonic SR-DA182KST and SR-DA152WST rice cookers are available for RRP $199 and $169 respectively.
