Panasonic is launching its first hair straightener, the EH-HS99 Hydrating Hair Straightener, which promises healthier, shinier hair with salon-quality results.

Featuring Nanoe technology which provides moisture to hair and protects it from damage, high performance ceramic plates, five heat settings and advanced heat control technology, the straightener joins Panasonic’s hair dryers, the EN-NA98 and EH-NA65.

With even heat distribution plates and advanced stable heater, heat is distributed uniformly over the plates and the correct temperature is maintained. Hair will last up to 20% longer with around 20% shorter straightening time, according to tests from SGS.

The compact styling head makes it easy to position the flat iron at the hair root and the thumb dimple in the handle allows for comfortable movement whether users are straightening hair or creating a wave or curl. A swivel cord provides added convenience and comfort.

Panasonic Australia marketing manager for personal care, Tory Rooney said women are concerned about the impact of using hot styling tools regularly, so the company has developed a damage-reducing hair straightener.

“The EH-HS99 Hydrating Hair Straightener is backed by more than 80 years of hair care research and incorporates our innovative Nanoe technology proven to minimise hair damange, improve shine and reduce static for a sleek finish.”

The Panasonic EH-HS99 Hydrating Hair Straightener is available from Amazon Australia and Myer for RRP $279.
