SYDNEY, NSW: The third-generation notebooks in the Timeline series are housed in blue brushed aluminium and measure in at under an inch thick, whilst offering an eight-hour battery life.

Intel Core i5 or i7 processors plus Nvidia graphics are available for the notebooks, which come in 13.3-inch, 14-inch or 15.6-inch models, all with LED-backlit displays and 16:9 HD cinematic view.

Functionality and connectivity have been improved with the addition of a USB 3.0 port, which can charge devices whether the notebook is on or off. Additionally, the Chiclet keyboard and multi-gesture touchpad allow consumers to operate the notebook with intuitive navigation such as pinching and swirling fingers.

Chris Osborne, senior product manager, consumer notebook, Acer Computer Australia, said: “Our Aspire TimelineX product range has received a significant performance boost. The series continues to offer extreme power, convenience and connectivity. Powered by the latest second generation Intel Core Processor, the revamped Aspire TimelineX also receives a new look and feel.”
