OPPO has released the new A78 5G smartphone featuring 33W SUPERVOOC, 5,000mAh battery and ColorOS 13.
With 33W SUPERVOOC Flash Charge, the A78 5G can be charged to 100% in 67 minutes and provides up to 22.85 hours of phone calls on a full charge.
The A78 5G also includes a series of All-Day AI Power Saving features to intelligently manage battery performance and boost overall battery life. Super Power Saving mode saves battery for emergency needs, while Super Night Standby learns user sleeping patterns to limit power consumption to just 2% overnight.
In addition to a 50MP main camera, 2MP self-portrait lens and an 8MP front camera, the A78 5G’s 108MP Ultra-Clear Image uses software algorithms to increase the resolution of images to 108MP for enhanced clarity. Smart imaging features like AI Portrait Retouching, AI Scene Enhancement, and Ultra Night Mode encourage further creativity.
Equipped with dual stereo speakers, the A78 5G promises more immersive surround sound, while Real Original Sound technology delivers optimal sound adjusted for music, videos, and games. On the visual side, the 6.56-inch colour-rich display features a 90Hz high refresh rate.
From a design perspective, the A78 5G is decorated with polished rings around the camera module and embellished with a pattern of shining lights that extends to the backplate. The iconic OPPO Glow process is also applied to the backplate to create a shimmering look with a fingerprint-free matte finish.
The MediaTek Dimensity 700 platform provides powerful 5G performance and an efficient Octa-Core Processor. With a 4GB RAM and 128GB ROM configuration, the A78 5G supports up to 1TB SD card expansion. OPPO’s RAM Expansion technology can also further increase the amount of RAM by up to 4GB.
Through ColorOS 13, A78 5G users will enjoy improved efficiency and security thanks to features such as FlexDrop for more efficient multitasking and Three-Finger Translate with Google Lens to translate text in the chosen area of a screenshot.
The OPPO A78 5G is available in Glowing Black and Glowing Blue for RRP $359 from Optus, JB Hi-Fi, Big W, Officeworks, The Good Guys and Bing Lee.
