Creator and leader of the home pizza oven market, Ooni, is launching two new additions to its oven line-up including the Ooni Karu 12G (pictured below) and Ooni Volt 12 (pictured above).
The Ooni Karu 12G claims to be the world’s most advanced portable pizza oven with multi-fuel versatility, an integrated thermometer, ClearView technology and a triple-paned borosilicate glass door – a first for Ooni’s 12-inch oven range. It brings the best of the brand’s highly acclaimed Karu 16 pizza oven in a compact model.
The Karu 12G is ready to cook straight from the box with wood, charcoal, or a combination of both. Alternatively, a gas bottle can be attached to the optional gas burner. The oven uses 36% less gas than previous models and can reach 450°C in under 20 minutes.
With a large 13-inch cooking area, a Neapolitan-style pizza can be cooked in 60 seconds, or experiment with other styles and foods from a Detroit-style pizza to grilled meats and vegetables in an Ooni cast iron pan.

As Ooni’s first electric pizza oven, Ooni Volt 12 can be used in both indoor kitchens and outdoor spaces. Reaching 450°C in just 20 minutes, home cooks can bake a Neapolitan-style pizza in just 90 seconds on a 13-inch cordierite baking stone.
With two heating elements – one at the top for downward heat and one under the stone for crispy bases – the Volt has built-in temperature, time, balance control, and new boost function.
Designed to fit on any standard kitchen benchtop, Volt is lightweight, portable, and easy to store. A weather-resistant shell means it can withstand the elements when cooking outdoors, while a triple-paned glass door provides a clear view of the pizza cooking without losing heat. The Ooni Volt 12 also automatically shuts off after 45 minutes of inactivity.
