TomTom has announced that its record-breaking navigation iPhone app will soon be available for the iPad in an optimised format. This app will be free to download for existing iPhone customers.
“We have listened to our customers,” said TomTom MD Corinne Vigreux. “In response to strong customer demand, we have optimised our TomTom App for the iPad. Now customers have one App for all iOS devices.”

The app will be available for download by the end of 2011. Features include HD Traffic, TomTom Speed Cameras, free map updates and turn-by-turn navigation.
