SYDNEY, NSW: LG Electronics Australia is boosting its washing machine offering, with the announcement today that the company has released a new range of washers featuring “6 motion technology”.
“The innovative technologies on LG’s new front-load washers are designed to make laundry time a breeze,” said Glacel Lubrin-Zabat, LG Electronics Australia’s category marketing manager for fridges, washing machines and dishwashers.
“The 6 Motion technology, combined with its ‘Big In’ 10-kilogram washing capacity, means less wear and tear on clothes, giving consumers more time with family and friends.”

The machine uses six techniques to deliver customised washes suitable for a variety of different fabrics, targeted at offering powerful cleaning without the harsh treatment. The result is a series of washing machiens “unlike any other product on the market”.
The top-of-the-range machine also offers a Steam Washer with Allergy Care function for “removing more dirt and reducing common household allergens by up to 99 per cent,” as well as a 20-minute Steam Refresh Cycle that provides a detergent-free wash with less than one litre of water.
The range includes six washers varying in price from the Front Load Washer (WD14030D6, RRP $1499) to the Steam Washer (WD1460SD6, RRP $2099).
