HMD Global is introducing the Nokia G22 in Australia, the first Nokia smartphone with repairability at its core.
The Nokia G22 has been made with a repairable design with the ability to replace the display, charging port or battery even after the warranty has expired.
In collaboration with iFixit, the Nokia G22 can be repaired with step-by-step repair guides and replacement parts starting from $32.99. Made with a 100% recycled plastic back, Nokia G22 is also built with sustainability in mind.
To coincide with the launch, HMD Global will donate $20 for each device sold in the month of April to not-for-profit organisation, Clean Up Australia.

The Nokia G22 features a 6.52-inch HD+ display made of Corning Gorilla Glass 3, 50MP camera with night and quick night modes, OZO Playback for enhanced bass and an Audio Boost mode, ideal for use in noisy environments. Playful two-tone colours feature on a thinner body with a high gloss finish and matte metal camera base.
With up to three days of battery life and a battery that maintains over 80% of its original capacity even after 800 full charging cycles, the Nokia G22 comes with two years of Android OS upgrades, three years of monthly security updates and extended three-year warrantyat no extra cost.
Nokia G22 incorporates solutions designed to optimise performance such as Auto Cleanup which helps apps run faster, One Press ‘clear all’ to manually clear the cache for smoother usage and Excluded Apps to choose when and where the power goes at the press of a button.
