The Photo Imaging Council of Australia is offering $150,000 plus incentive schemes to find its new general manager.

Executive search company VMG has been appointed by PICA president Dave Marshall (also MD of Fujifilm) to find the new GM, who will work with the retiring Paul Curtis on the new Digital Show to be staged in Melbourne next year.

“The position will appeal to a self-motivated entrepreneurial type of person that can see the huge potential growth for the imaging and digital industry,” Marshall said.

VMG director Oliver Lee is quoted as saying: “The skills required are a thorough understanding of market promotion, advertising and PR combined with strong financial management and negotiation abilities”.
