Nespresso was a winner at the recent Retail Innovators 2022 Awards held recently on the Gold Coast.

The awards showcase retailers who are outstanding in their approach to innovation and out-of-the-box thinking across seven categories including: Customer Experience; Digital Innovators, Omnichannel Excellence; FMCG; Social Cause; Research & Strategic Focus and Inspiring Retail Leader.

Nespresso picked up the award for Omnichannel Excellence.

Nespresso Oceania general manager, Jean-Marc Dragoli, told Appliance Retailer, “We are proud to be recognised for Nespresso’s Omnichannel approach across our different areas of the business.

“From expanding our delivery services to better serve customers during the pandemic, to implementing a multi-channel coffee capsule recycling program to enable access to all our customers, we have continued to expand the channels we use and innovate the way we do business to meet our customers where they are,” he said.

“Our Curby trial was a key example of Nespresso’s pioneering approach, which introduced convenient kerbside collection of coffee capsules in Australia for the first time. We will continue to explore and expand our strategy to improve the coffee experience for customers at every stage of their journey with us.” 

Finalists in the category were Emerge Fashion, The Iconic, Pet Circle, Myer and Scentre Group.
