Sydney households and the home trade industry received their first look at the new MyPlaceIQ smart home system at the Sydney Home Show over the weekend.
MyPlaceIQ is the latest iteration of MyPlace’s smart air conditioning system, which can integrate with existing lighting, motorised blinds, smart door locks and more.
MyPlace Group general manager, Darren Bee expressed his enthusiasm by showcasing the new technology at the Home Show, specifically showing consumers and stakeholders the range of products that can enhance energy efficiency, security and control in the home.
“We know homeowners and home builders are looking for systems that can support better efficiency in the home and also bring down the cost-of-living expenses. With MyPlaceIQ Australian households can reduce your ducted air conditioning energy consumption by 46%,” he said.
“This industry leading technology goes beyond conventional air conditioning, enabling homeowners to not just manage home heating and cooling, but seamlessly integrate with garage door, lights, blinds, security and more.
“MyPlaceIQ can also maximise energy efficiency for homes with solar power, allowing homeowners to make use of excess solar energy during peak production times, further reducing energy bills and helping Australians lower their carbon footprint.”
“The system can also link to real-time weather data to monitor the temperature. Once the outdoors hits the chosen temperature, the system automatically turns on to cool the home using solar.”
Headquartered in Perth, Western Australia, Advantage Air continues to lead the market with energy-efficient systems.
